Let the good times roll...the Subways new single

Taken from the album ‘Money And Celebrity’ (COOKCD549) and entitled ‘We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time (FRYDL479), the track is an infectious and somewhat topical celebration of the fact not everything in life is reliant on money. With a chorus that defies the brush off , ‘We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time’ has already proved to be  a massive hit on the European festival circuit  - where the band have been ever present all summer and revels in the energetic whirlwind of this trio from Welwyn Garden City.

‘We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time’ depicts those who don’t want to be left behind or pushed around by those in seats of authority pursuing huge capital gain no matter what the cost to others - whilst attempting to capture the public’s frustration towards the financial institutions and more recently the (tabloid) press and the song has all the hallmarks of becoming a teenage anthem…Shout It Loud!!! ‘We Don’t Need Money To Have a Good Time.

Released on 12th September through Cooking Vinyl, the track was recorded with Stephen Street (Blur / The Smiths) and mixed by Adrian Bushby (Muse / Foo Fighters) and will be available as a digital single (FRY DL479) and digital bundle (FRYDL479 X) b/w ‘Baby You Are Uptight’ - recorded and mixed by the band’s Billy Lunn coupled with a German version of ‘We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time’.
